Coreen and Richard’s wedding at Prestonfield House was nothing short of spectacular and one that I just didn’t want to end. Can we do it all over again?!

Prestonfield House is opulence, grandeur and glamour that is without equal. If you are looking for an Edinburgh wedding venue that delivers excellence and will go above and beyond for you every single time, then look no further than this stunning 5-star, 17th century mansion.

What I love about Prestonfield House is the colours, the texture of the interiors, and the grounds are just beautiful. It’s also quite fun trying to take portraits of your bride when you get photobombed by one of the many peacocks that are strolling around!

Coreen and Richard are one of the most relaxed couples I have worked with and were an absolute pleasure to hang out with. If they were sat down having dessert and I come running up to them saying “there’s gonna be a helicopter landing outside”, they were up for running out with me to get some photos! Love these guys :) Special thanks to the pilot for letting us use his pride and joy for a while too!

We were really fortunate to get some glorious weather and to be able to have a lot of the wedding outside. From the ceremony in the marquee and drinks and canapes out on the lawn, it was perfect.

After some incredible food, brilliant speeches and lots of craziness on the dance floor, I finished up on what was a truly amazing wedding day. For wedding photographers in Edinburgh, or Scotland for that matter, it doesn't get much better than this!
